A wonderfully relaxing way to unleash your creativity and spend time with friends. Utilising vintage ceramics, tiles and trinkets you will have an opportunity to make a heart or bird mosaic to take home.

Learn how to make your very own scented candles with fragrances using 100% pure Eco-Soy wax. You will learn about the different types of wax, oils, wicks and the traditional methods used to make beautiful candles.

​Enjoy a fun and relaxing 1 hour workshop and make 5 candles in the comfort of your home. Suitable for beginners from 12+, no previous experience necessary.

We will send you a candle making kit before your online lesson, so you have everything you need to join the workshop.

All materials to create your candles are included: 350g container soy wax, 5 wicks, paraben-free fragrance oil of your choice, 2 tin containers, 3 tea light cups, stirrer, centralising tool, pipette and full instruction guide.

Prior to the course Charlie promptly responded to all my questions and was very understanding when I messed up the booking. At the start of the course, which was at my Mum’s house, she handed out chalk boards to write our names on. This meant she addressed us by our names which made it a lot more personalised. She also gave us a hand-out detailing what we needed to do. She was pleasant, polite, knowledgeable and patient throughout and ignored a bit of raucousness from the group! She said she took hen groups so was used to it! I just hope it didn’t get on her wick!  😂😂😂 She provided Prosecco which went down well ( literally! ) and answered all our questions. It was a great experience and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. 
I would perhaps suggest she gets a shopping style trolley for all her candle-making equipment and it may have been useful to have some examples of the candles we were going to make so we knew what the end result would look like. Thank you Charlie!

This playful workshop with artist JoannasHouse ofFelts is perfect for anyone interested in trying felting  and developing fundamental skills and knowledge.
